Finding things to talk about + Disagreements

Post by Tendai » Wed Aug 19, 2015 12:01 am

Whenever I'm talking with people I struggle to find things to talk about, I wonder if I should talk about a movie I watched, a game I played, what happened in a sports game but then think maybe these are things that aren't interesting enough to talk about. Am I wrong in thinking that? What should I do/talk about when conversing instead?

Another example is when playing tennis with a friend I'm thinking what the hell should I be talking about or saying right now? Tennis? My forehand?

Also getting into arguments that are subjective which leads me to disliking that person (I don't like the way he talks, I don't like his opinions, I don't like the activities he partakes. How do I stay friends with this person?
